Breaktime Bible Study: The Greatest of Powers

The Highest of Powers

For great is your love, reaching to the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Psalm 57:10

There is no beginning or end to the love of God −His love has always been and will always be. God’s love is greater and more powerful than any force we have ever experienced. The power of His love can soften the greatest and vilest of men. David tapped into the love of God as his overcoming power, for he understood there are no limits and that His love can't be contained.

When we try to deserve or win God’s love, we are constraining His love and grace to our level. God’s love is meant for everyone, and His love chases us regardless of who or where we’ve been. God loves us first and teaches us how to receive. One of the hardest things to do is to open up ourselves to God’s love−His way. Accepting His love for ourselves regardless of our situation in life will motivate us every day to walk in His love.

God’s love is reckless and is unlike any force we have experienced. His love consumes all our unbelief, never fails and always with us. Imagine in your worst of circumstances, God’s love exceeds and reveals His presence and destroys your unbelief. Above all, you can possibly imagine God's mercy is there. There is nothing more significant than the love of God reaching down into all your life.
