Breaktime Bible Study: Trio of Influence

Trio of Influence

In your majesty ride forth victoriously in the cause of truth, humility and justice; let your right hand achieve awesome deeds. Psalm 45:4

The victory of the King begins with three things, according to the author: truth, humility, and justice. The Palmist imagines the King riding forth using these as His source of power and influence. As a result, the King will accomplish awesome deeds with these companions as His influences.

Truth is the language of God for there is no error or falsehood when He speaks. He keeps no lies hidden from His people for truth has the power to set us free; when we receive truth, it can free us from all deception. Truth, when spoken, brings light and life to all who hear.

Humility is the approach to all of life. The humble mind is the one which considers others and puts pride to death. Justice is found in the way the King makes His decisions. Children of God, the road set before us is the way of the Majesty. His hands achieve awesome deeds because as our leader, He uses truth, humility, and justice. Will we allow God to work through us with the dynamic trio of influence?
