Breaktime Bible Study: Unity

Unity
Because of my integrity, you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. Psalm 41:12

David lived with God in Unity. David was not without sin, but he lived with the knowledge that God dwelled within him. David found his integrity by walking daily in unity with God. David was completely transparent to God

For some of us, learning to walk daily with God, and being utterly transparent may be a long process. Others may grasp the concept right away and emulate David rather quickly. The more we recognize God's presence within us, the more we can learn to trust his constant companionship. We no longer have to pretend that we are religious but can live in the confidence of God's presence. God's indwelling enables us to be people of integrity with The Almighty God.

Our souls long for Unity with God. However, many things compete for our attention. This competition is challenging to our unity with God. The ego is one of those things. When the ego emerges, our unity with God can be tested. In a daily practice, listen to the voice of God, which will lead to a life of integrity.
