Trouble Follows Trouble
Trouble follows Trouble
But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken. Psalm 37:15
The enemy may try to point the sword at us but in the end, it's their heart that pierces. Our actions affect our heart, the place where the motive is determined and the wicked may try to use all the weapons they have to break our spirit, but it will be their own spirit crushed.
When wickedness is the motive, the heart becomes a hard place and the actions that follow will be filled with malice. What they thought was going to be their gain falls on their own demise which becomes a cold place, numb to their consequences. Hate begins to grow, love no longer exists and the only thing that follows is a broken pierced heart and the trouble that follows. For trouble follows trouble.
However, the heart is a place where motives are determined, and decisions are made.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8
We keep our heart pure by resisting and we stop participating with the evil around us. The heart needs constant attention because it’s the place where the enemy enjoys attacking so now blessings follow blessing and we will see God.
