Breaktime: What a Joy
What a Joy
Led in with joy and gladness, they enter the palace of the king. Psalm 45:15
The greatest of days will be when we are led to our eternal home. What a day of joy and gladness it will be entering the fullness and beauty of the king. The incredible and utter joy we will experience as we are being led home. This is the description of the church entering into the final home.
As we prepare for this day in eternity, it all begins today and this day is the beginning of forever. Today we can be led with joy and gladness for joy isn’t based on our circumstances or situations of life, but on what God gives. He surrounds us with His joy and comfort.
Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10
The strength we are daily looking for is the joy which God gives. Looking towards God's provision can provide us with all we need and joy is what God provides as the strength for the journey. The joy God gives is a mind and heart which is already predetermined despite life’s situation. Enjoy your day making your mind up −this is the day the Lord has made, you will rejoice and be glad in it.
