Breaktime: Wearing the Garments of Praise

Wearing the Garments of Praise

In embroidered garments she is led to the king; her virgin companions follow her— those brought to be with her. Psalm 45:14

This is the church, approaching the King of Kings clothed in garments in the end as the church puts on the garment of praise. The church, in all its beauty, is what Christ does for the body-the perfection of the church is captured by the beauty because of Christ.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9

Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness, which means Jesus cleanses us, the church. We confess our sins; we admit the unrightness of our life and heart. We hold nothing back, allowing Jesus access to our whole heart, and we accept the places of disunity in our life and receive unity.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10

King David sensed when his heart was impure, and he asked God for His creating power to clean his soul. David knew he needed God’s constant to work within his heart and he asked God to renew him to the place of steadiness. What do we need God to do in our hearts today? God desires for us to wear the garments of purity

Today in the Workplace
