My Place of Strength

BT 1-7.jpg

My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like you, Lord? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.” Psalm 34:10

David releases his whole being to praise the Lord, the very body which the enemy pursued, David turns to praise. The very body which could have easily been broken is now turned to praise. God is David’s champion and the one who rescues him.

When God becomes our champion, we turn towards him to be our resource for all we need including relief from the enemy for He is the God for justice! When we think the needy are being overcome by the strong, God steps in with His arms of justice and redeems the poor. He came to seek and save those who are lost.

Allow the needy parts of your life to be the place God is the strongest. The places where the enemy is trying to overcome could be exactly the places God is waiting to show us, He is stronger. Turning towards God in our weakness could allow the words of this Psalm to come alive in our heart. When we learn the places of weakness in our lives could be the strongest areas when we allow God to work, we will always defeat the enemy.
