Overwhelming Goodness

Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. Psalm 34:21

Just as the Lord has redemption for all, the wicked refuse to accept life on God’s terms. They choose another course through life which leads to strife and heartache and becomes so accustomed to these companions anything other would be unnatural. The only hope for the wicked is condemnation yet,

God has a plan of redemption for His children and his will is none will perish.

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

So why would anyone choose to live a wicked life is beyond most of our reasoning. However, we live in a world filled with sin and have been given the free will to choose its attraction. Once evil is tasted it becomes pleasurable for the partaker and the addiction to it overcomes them.

Before we throw the stone to hard with our harsh judgments reflect of some of the choices we made yesterday or even today. Wickedness taps on the shoulders of believers most days with its enticement. But we have chosen the way of escape instead of following its desire. When God is our refuge, he rescues us from the choice of evil. Allow the goodness of the Lord to overcome us today.

Today in the Workplace

Pray for those who are living in wickedness.
