to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. Psalm 33:19
Are we those people who panic during times of need? Life can be filled with seasons of dryness and we can have times where all we know is desperation. This season of life is defined by all the loss we are experiencing so during this season it is often difficult to see what God is doing.
However, God is not letting us go He is keeping us alive. We may not feel alive, but His Spirit continues to feed us truth and His Spirit is still producing fruit that will last even when the lens of life looks like famine. God could be doing more than we can even imagine in this season.
For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, Romans 8:6
When we are in a season of despair, pay attention to what our mind continues to tell us. Often, we are repeating the same negative words of discouragement to ourselves and others because when we set our mind on scarcity of our situation, our soul becomes a place of dryness. However, when we set our mind on the Spirit, we experience a deep contentment.
